The Steelers have announced that FB/TE David Johnson will return to a 1-year deal.
The 2009 7th round pick started all 16 games in 2011 and recorded career high 12 catches for 95 yards and a touchdown.
Fellow TE Heath Miller had his entire knee explode late last season and will need time to recover, while Johnson can't replace his receiving abilities, Johnson is a great run blocker who can play TE or FB for the Steelers.
