Jets sign former Jaguars, Dolphins QB David Garrard

The New York Jets announced they signed QB David Garrard, the veteran worked out for the team two weeks ago.

Garrard hasn't played since starting 14 games in 2010, he struggled to overcome back and knee injuries the past couple of seasons.

In his career Garrard passed for 89 TDs and 54 INTs and also added 17 rushing TDs, he also took the Jaguars to the playoffs.

Garrard should be able to easily beat out Mark Sanchez for the starting job if he's healthy.
