The Giants usually stack up on a number of capable defensive tackles each season, they have now added a former Superbowl champion into the mix.
In 2011 Cullen Jenkins signed a 5-year, $30 million contract with the Eagles, After starting all 32 games the past 2 seasons, he's now signing with the Giants for a 3-year, $8 million deal according to Kimberly Jones of NFL.com.
Jenkins recorded only 9.5 sacks during those 32 games but he's still a solid interior pass-rusher.
The Giants released veteran DL Chris Canty during the off-season so they had a need for a veteran in the position to play along side of young players such as Marvin Austin.
